I am happy to announce the official release date of my second picture book, What am I? Fruits, to be on April 2nd, 2019.
Here is a summary of the book:
Can you guess what fruit I am? A pear? An orange? A strawberry?
In this guess-the-fruit book, fifteen riddles about common fruits ask the question, “what am I?” Each rhythmic riddle first gives a detailed description of a fruit. On the following page, a colorful illustration provides the answer. Kids will have fun trying to solve these riddles about fruits that they may encounter on their plate, in the grocery store, or in an orchard. A perfect companion to What am I? Vegetables.

2018 was a productive and eventful year for me as an author. Here’s a recap:
I released my first children’s picture book, What am I? Vegetables, in February.
I visited the Taste of Buffalo with Monkey See, Monkey Do Bookstore in August and did a reading of my children’s book.
I celebrated Indie Author Day in October at the central library with a lot of other cool local authors.
In December, Buffalo Spree magazine featured my children’s book in their holiday gift guide.
Hopefully 2019 will be just as interesting. Look for What am I? Fruits sometime in the spring!
In honor of this special holiday, here’s a Christmas poem taken from my book Tree Verse, (pg. 12).
My picture book, What am I? Vegetables had an appearance in Buffalo Spree’s 2018 Holiday Shopping Guide. The children’s book is perfect for holiday fun, including having kids test their knowledge of various vegetables through fun riddles and colorful illustrations. Check out the Spree’s Holiday Shopping Guide for more information on all of your holiday shopping needs (Pages 79- 94 has books by local authors with interesting topics).
